New West Ballet School

Where we foster the love of dance

Welcome to New West Ballet

At New West Ballet we are committed to instilling a love of the performing arts to each and every student. We realize you have choices in North County San Diego for dance instruction. We strive to provide the best customer service to each student and their families. We strive to provide a high quality dance education in a positive, nurturing environment.

New West Ballet believes that participating in dance enhances the overall development of your child. It also encourages students to develop a positive self-image as they increase awareness of their physical being. Along with improving coordination skills and developing muscular awareness, dance class gives children the freedom to express themselves through movement.

It is our objective to inspire a passion for the art of dance in every child that passes through our doors. In the process, we aim to set the right example and help you and your child create memories and skills that will last a lifetime.

New West Ballet has a developmental curriculum of study. Classical ballet has evolved over the past 400 years, and continues to change even today. There are historical styles and methods that are the center of the program.

Dancers start as young as 12 months in our Pre-Dance program that includeBaby and Me, Creative Movement, and Ballet. As the students get older the move up to the Classical Levels and on to the Company Trainee Levels.

New West Ballet also has lessons in Modern, Jazz, and Lyrical. Though ballet is our main focus, New West Ballet understands that dancers in this day and age need to be able to do anything. Ballet companies across the world all perform contemporary ballet pieces along with the classics.

For more than 30 years NWB has been a leader in dance training and education. We believe that the success of the school comes as a result of providing solid training and quality service.
