The Nutcracker 2023
A party will be had, a battle will be fought, as for the snowflakes, there will be quite a lot! Reindeers will prance, and candies will dance, beautiful flowers will waltz among the dew, and according to Clara, dreams do come true!
Thanks to a grant from the California Arts Council, NWB Foundation is pleased to partner with Pacific Lyric Association to produce this year’s production with a live orchestra.

Our Saturday Matinee performance (November 25th at 2pm) is a family- and sensory-friendly performance. This condensed production features softer sound, house lights partially lite, and a pre-show talk to introduce our audience members to the world of ballet and what magic awaits onstage. Thanks to the generosity of donors, we are able to gift tickets to local non-profit groups that support San Diego Youth and neurodiverse patrons.
